Polished Dt Swiss 240 Hub
There is not much of a story as for why I felt it was necessary to strip the paint off of a DT Swiss 240 rear hub. I personally have not seen it done before by other builders. There was hesitation to do so initially because I didn’t know if I could even achieve the ideal finish with the anodized axle end caps. But it came out better than expected.
I may never build up a wheel around this hub. It very well could be a great conversational paperweight, coveted by bike nerds.
